Alex “Pepper Jack” Jacobson

Alex “Pepper Jack” Jacobson was born a raised in central and southern Missouri. He spent most of his childhood floating and fishing the rivers of the Ozarks. Pepper Jack received his Eagle Scout award in 2009 and moved out to Colorado to attend Western State University in Gunnison Colorado after high school. Pepper Jack was introduced to the world of white water in Gunnison Colorado and experienced his first trip down the Yampa river with Adrift while finishing his undergrad. Pepper Jack is a National Outdoor Leadership School alumni and graduated with degrees in Recreation and Outdoor Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Western State University in 2017.

Pepper Jack has played with bands while in high school and college and continues to play percussion/ drums with the band in his free time. Pepper Jack enjoys cooking a verity of different foods and has worked in the restaurant industry for multiple years since high school. In the winters Pepper Jack works for Elements Wilderness program and is a working artist out in Salt Lake City.
