Nader Jamal

River & SUP Guide / Pro Snow Instructor

Originally from Upstate New York, Nader graduated with a degree in history from the University at Buffalo. After developing a deep passion for skiing in college Nader decided to take a job as a ski instructor in Colorado, where love for winter sports and the outdoors grew exponentially.

Nader’s first whitewater experience came a few years later while learning to kayak in Glacier National Park. Shortly after he was introduced to the world of whitewater SUP and found a passion that matched his winters. A product of both our Stand Up Paddle and Raft guide school, Nader loves working in Dinosaur because it combines great whitewater and an exceptional geological landscape in an area that is extremely rich in history.

Outside of guiding Nader works his winters as a ski and snowboard instructor as well as the main alpine freestyle trainer in Vail, Colorado (he loves skiing park, especially rails and halfpipe). He also works as lead staff for First Descents, a nonprofit that takes young adults impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions on life-changing outdoor adventure trips.
