Annie Westbury

River Manager / Head Guide / Trainer / Trip Leader

Annie Westbury hails from the hillsides of Missouri. Growing up, she would go on some “redneck” canoe and tubing cruises down the Meramec & Missouri River with her family. It wasn’t until she left the midwest and ventured off to Colorado that she realized what rivers could do for her soul. When she isn’t working in Dinosaur National Monument with Adrift, she is instructing for the NOLS River Program, or guiding on other rivers, including Cataract Canyon, Desolation Canyon, Westwater Canyon, Middlefork of the Salmon, and more! During the winters she packs up her Toyota Sunrader and ventures south of the border, surfing, dancing, and picking up Spanish along the way. She has a deep love for the Wild YAMPA river and will forever defend it with her heart, voice, and body! She aims to always keep it River Weird and provide a plethora of shenanigans on the daily. The river feels like home to Annie and she can’t wait to introduce you to the space between the canyon walls!
